Cookie Policy

Last updated: July 2026

This Cookie Policy applies to the public AI92 website at ai92.ai. It is a literal inventory: if a technology is not listed here, this site does not use it.

What this policy covers

Applies to: All Customers

This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies (browser localStorage and telemetry beacons) the AI92 website actually sets, and why.

It covers the public marketing site only. The AI92 product dashboard and API are covered by the Privacy Policy and the Data Processing Addendum.

Strictly necessary storage

Applies to: All Customers

Language preference - a cookie (NEXT_LOCALE) remembers the language you chose so the site loads in it on your next visit.

Theme preference - your light/dark choice is kept in browser localStorage. It never leaves your browser.

Both exist only so the site behaves the way you configured it. They carry no advertising and no cross-site tracking.

Currency preference - a cookie (ai92_ccy) remembers the display currency, set automatically from your region and adjustable in the footer selector.

Consent record - a cookie (ai92_consent) stores the analytics choice you made in the consent banner for 12 months, and a short-lived cookie (ai92_geo) holds the two-letter country code your request arrived from so the site knows whether consent-first rules apply. Neither identifies you.

Analytics

Applies to: All Customers

We load Google Tag Manager with Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate site usage - pages visited, approximate region, device type. Google may set cookies (such as _ga) for this purpose.

If you are in the EEA, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, these tools do not run until you allow them in the consent banner (Google Consent Mode v2 with denied defaults). Rejecting - or simply ignoring the banner - keeps the page entirely free of Google tags.

Elsewhere they run by default and you can switch them off at any time via Cookie settings in the footer. We also honour the Global Privacy Control browser signal as an automatic opt-out.

We use this data to improve the site. We do not use it to build advertising profiles or to retarget you.

Error and performance monitoring

Applies to: All Customers

Sentry (self-hosted, first-party) receives an error report when something on the site breaks - crash-only reporting that is strictly necessary to keep the service working and secure. Performance tracing and the short, fully-masked session replays only run if you have allowed analytics.

Grafana Faro collects page-performance telemetry (load timings) so we can keep the site fast.

Neither tool is used for advertising.

In consent-first regions, Grafana Faro is treated as analytics: it stays off until you opt in via the consent banner.

Third-party services you opt into

Applies to: All Customers

If you sign in or start a trial with Google, Google sets its own cookies as part of that sign-in flow, governed by Google's policies.

We do not embed advertising pixels or social-media trackers on this site.

Managing cookies

Applies to: All Customers

You can clear or block cookies and localStorage in your browser settings at any time. Blocking the strictly necessary items simply resets your language and theme preferences.

Your browser can also be set to warn you before any cookie is stored.

The quickest route: Cookie settings in the footer of every page reopens the consent panel, where you can change or withdraw your choice at any time. Your decision is kept for 12 months, after which we ask again.
