Per-key spending caps

The metering model is designed so a failure is never a bill. Every rule below is enforced by the gateway itself and visible in your usage ledger.
Reserve, then refund - exactly once
Async jobs (creative renders, audits, exports) reserve credits up front and automatically refund them if the job fails or is never delivered.
No charge on empty results
If a search or report comes back with zero or unknown results, the operation is free - you pay for outcomes, not attempts.
No charge on server errors
Any request that ends in a 5xx costs nothing. Errors are on us, not on your balance.
Pre-flight balance check
If your balance can't cover an operation you get a clean 402 INSUFFICIENT_CREDITS before anything runs - no partial charges, no overdraft.
Per-key spending caps & allowlists

The fine print, in plain English
Do credits ever expire?
No, credits never expire from time of purchase. We do have a 24-month inactivity policy: if your account has zero API requests AND zero credit purchases for 24 consecutive months, we put it in Read-Only State (you keep your balance, you keep your data, you can reactivate any time). The full mechanism is described in our Terms of Service.
Is the sandbox really free?
Yes. Sandbox keys (prefix ai92_test_) are metered but never charged - no credits are consumed and no card is required. You generate one from your dashboard in seconds, and sandbox responses carry the X-AI92-Sandbox header so you can tell environments apart.
Is there an SLA?
99.5% monthly uptime is the headline commitment, with a service-credit ladder for under-performance (10% / 25% / 50% of monthly fees). The sandbox is not covered by the SLA. Full terms in the Terms of Service.
Can I switch between packages, subscriptions, and add-ons?
Yes - they're all stackable. You can hold a Pro Sub for your baseline, top up with a Professional pack ahead of a busy month, and enable Rank Tracking on top of that. All consumption draws from the same credit balance; add-ons are billed separately.
